Okay, in Mobile Me, there is a custom option so I can create a recurring event every 1st or second or third Wednesday of every month -- of couse Mobile Me DOESN'T WORK  otherwise this would be easy. So in iPhone, how do I do this? I can't figure it out?
If iPhone doesn't do it, can I do it in Calendar and sync it?

I'm pretty sure that you can do it no problem in iCal or Outlook, and it will get synced correctly, but you cannot do complex recurring schedules directly from the iPhone.

iCal will do this. Set up your event, click repeat, click monthly and it gives you the option of setting it for a specific day of the month (say like the 5th) or every 1st Wednesday like you want.

In the FWIW department, I've been sending feedback to Apple for them to make iCal and Contacts identical on the Mac, MobileMe and the iPhone/Touch.
It is really frustrating that they are not the same in all three places.
You might want to join in by giving feedback as well if you would like to see these applications having identical function in all three places.

Yeah, I would agree.
I got frustrated with Mobile Mac this morning (on my work PC) because it doesn't work with IE so I used Firefox. And it LOOKS like it works with Firefox but if you actually check up on it by scrolling ahead a month or two the meeting either disappears, changes dates or skips months! UNBELIEVABLE!
