Hey guys and girls...I just got a stick of 512mb 200pin SODIMM PC2100 for my new 12in 1.0ghz powerbook from Crucials website and after I put the stick in my programs would keep dropping on me. Always an unexpected error box. Took the stick out and everything is running normal now. So they are sending me a new one to try, but I was wondering in my users book when it talks about the memory is says PC2700 , but on the website it is PC2100. Is the book just wrong? The one crucial has for the make of my laptop is the PC2100.
Thanks

The PB 12" uses PC2100 as Crucial says but PC2700 should actually work fine anyway.

Apple's website (click here) says it uses PC2100 memory. I don't have the book to hand with me but I don't remember any errenous value for the memory.

You have the right memory, you must have just had a dud chip. The 512MB PC2100 module I installed from crucial has given me no problems whatsoever.
