UIWebView Question

I am using a UIWebView in a TabBar application and I want the web view to be initialized in landscape mode or at least the ability to force it into landscape mode. Any ideas on how this might be done? I am actually loading an html page from a file and am wondering also if there might be a javascript function that will force landscape mode??
