i was wondering if it was possible to download a mac friendly version of microsoft word as this is the only thing i would use from the microsoft office software.

if anyone has a link to a website or something it would be greatly appreciated

Just buy it, or download the M$ Document Converter which will allow you to open the files in TextEdit.

If you're looking for something free, neooffice has a pretty decent substitute for word.
