APC BACK UPS 1500 XS ok to use with MacPro? (Stepped Sine Wave output)

Hi,

I was wondering if a UPS with a stepped Sine wave output and not a pure sine wave output would possibly shorten the life of my MacPro?

I have been considering an APC BACK UPS XS 1500VA but the I realized that it had stepped and not pure sine wave output.😱

Does this really make any difference or is it much ado about nothing?😕
