both 2.5G and 3G crashing out of safari

ever since upgrading to 2.1 on both my 2.5G any my 3G iPhones they are crashing out of safari more then ever. I can't surf for more then 10 to 15 min without getting kicked to the home screen. What gives I thought 2.1 was more stable.
