It's not the Dev team that create WinPwn. It's an independent project.

Cmw said that he's got lots of work but will do Winpwn asap lol. He's not set a date as of yet.

just use the current quickpwn method. it is so easy and simple to do. don't need to downgrade to itunes 7.7 either. itunes 8 works perfectly.

Just use the method of downgrading iTunes, use quickpwn for 2.1, update back to iTunes 8 and restore with a custom firmware! works perfectly :)

there are plenty of ways to do it on here.

and YES, I am on Windows. Took me about 15 mins to do :)

Yup, it's a piece of cake and there won't be any problem if you followed all the steps correctly.
