Help - iTunes store error preventing iPhone access

Every time I try to connect to the iTunes store an 'Unknown error (-2096)' occurs. I have tried reinstalling itunes and every suggestion from the support section on the iTunes web site but the error still occurs.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as without access to the itunes store I cannot register or download any applications for my iPhone.

I used the soft " your uninstaller!2008" to remove all of itunes (restart my computer ) then reinstalling itunes. Now i can connect to the itunes:)
