No 5.1 sound

I've ripped two different dvds and i thought i would just use the apple tv setting on handbrake to get dolby 5.1 but both movies are just in stereo when i play them on my tv. i have my apple tv connected via hdmi and the digital audio form the apple tv directly to my receiver. am i doing something wrong here?

Edit: nvm had to update the presets and that did the trick!
