Has anything been said about the push notifications that are supposed to be coming this month? Should we still be expecting them within the next few days or are they delayed until god knows when?

I don't think they are giving us push notification any time soon because the have just released 2.1 so I think is going to take a month or something like that
last update apple gave us was "sometime in september"
A.they didn't say it was pushed back
B.also if they would of pushed it back i think we would be seeing new beta seeds with the push either included or not... so since they haven't updated the beta seeds i believe we are still on track to receive "push notifications" by the end of septemeber.

I believe Apple had, at one point, said it wold be part of 2.1.
So even if you're right and it does come out this month, it was still dropped from 2.1 for some reason. Why? No one knows.
My guess? After the MobileMe fiasco they began to doubt their server capacity and are holding the feature until they can be sure that the servers that will run it are up to speed.
Just my guess, anyway.
