you sure your standby isn't being incorrectly counted as usage? i'm not sure if they've fixed this bug with 2.1 but it was there with 2.0.2

Jailbreak an iPhone is gaining custom access to all the directories of the iPhone that Apple doesn't normally allow. Hence your kind of "breaking out of the Apple jail" that Apple sets on you.

wow.... i almost don't believe you... actually i don't.

I get about a quarter of that usage time for that about of standby time... and my battery life hasn't really seemed to change with 2.1....

If all you do is listening to ipod, that's very possible.

I have about an hour or 2 of games (Asphalt4, LED Football), about an hour or so of wifi browsing, a while of edge browsing, a lot of ipod, updating a few apps from Cydia (resulting in a few soft resprings) and the App Store, and last night I put on that WhiteNoise app that plays soothing sounds to help you sleep and let that play for a while... Im sure my standby isnt being counted as usage because the last time i charged my phone is about a day and 15 hours ago. Here is a screenshot if you dont believe me. And yes i meant ridiculously good:D I just took this screenshot a few mins ago and now my battery is at 10%

I am also getting crazy good battery life w/ 2.1...

But I had to do a full discharge first. After I initially installed 2.1 my battery life was no great at all. After a couple days I did a full discharge and then recharged 100% to see if it made a difference. Boy did it ever!!! It made all the difference in the world. I'm now getting the kind of life others in this thread have posted...crazy good now!!!!:D:D:D:D
