Merge Calls

The other night I tried merging two calls. After clicking the merge button it showed the two calls go together on the screen, but they would separate right after that (they never actually merged). My brother was there with me and he has a 1st Gen iPhone and he tried to merge the same numbers (except he was merging my number with another number instead of me merging his number) and it worked. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem with iPhone3g or if anyone has any help.

phone at&t to check call merge is enabled

yeah seems odd to me.. tried it with my 3g , my home line and another friends first-gen. and it worked fine from both of our phones. so i agree with the poster above, ask at&t first, 2nd ask apple.

Just call AT&T and tell them whats going on, they will fix it quickly. This happened to me.
