I'm not sure if this has beenn posted before, however if it has feel free to trash the thread.

I'll start the ball rolling with a pick of the Home brew AMD 1GHz, system. It currently has a Radeon 9600 card not the fabled GeForce2 MX, but I only have the card until the end of the week.

Sorry the focus is off towards the bottom of the pic;)

I'm sure that denjeff is proud of his computer. If he wasn't interested in the Mac he probably wouldn't be here. We just need to try to encourage him to be a switcher!

I don't have a picture of it, and I apologize it is a PC I'm sorry, I have a roll-your-own dual AMD MP 2800+, 512Mb of ECC DDR, 120Gb Hitachi deskstar HD, Promise ATA 133 RAID, dual NEC USB 2.0 controllers, Adaptec 2940, NV GF 2 MX video, and even though it is a PC I didn't totally ruin it and kept the windows where they belong, in the side of my house. Runs FreeBSD 5.1, and via Linux compatibility library is currently running folding@home as I'm typing. I did have a few Macs (beige G3 w/ G4@466Mhz, ATA66, better HD, OS X 10.1.5; PMac7600 w/ G3@266Mhz, a few HD's, ATI Rage Pro graphix, OS X 10.2.8, it CAN be done) but I gave them to my parents and my brother. I do have a PMac 6100/66 still somewhere...... lol
May see if I can get a pic of the last roll you own dualie AMD I built.. they were nearly identical.

Heres mine:

I am working on modifing a G4 case and putting a PC motherboard and chip inside it. The G4 that used to be in the case is dead, so I might as well use the case for something.

http://homepage.mac.com/clivedurdle/.Pictures/mark/room.jpg

In the picture I have:
2500XP, Geforce 4Ti4200 PC
2500XP, Radeon 8500 Shuttle XPC
1200Mhz, AIW Radeon Video editing PC
PowerBook G4 550

Broken Sega Game Gear I still have not got around to fixing.

Or, even better something that may never happen but I'd still like to see all the same is a Mac board that would fit a standard ATX case, or maybe a mod to allow that....
Could you imagine having a G5 or even a dualie G4 in a midtower? All the expansion you could possibly want, sure you'd give up good looks but for a power user, what's looks anyway?

Because I thought what was wanted was the inside of machines, and pretty much all Macs looks the same (of each model I mean), custom PC's are more interesting in this respect...or can be anyway ;)

Oh well, just to make you happy. Here's my Dual 1Ghz MDD w/superdrive. It's got an additional CD burner, a second harddrive and a USB2 card over what you usually get as stock. Still not that exciting though...but it is really tidy

I'm sure what I posted was not a quicksilver. I was saying that the inside of my quicksilver will be just like any other, my PC is more interesting.

It looks like the left side of your shelf is just seconds away from collapsing due to the weight of those two monitors

The left table is a different height to the right one, so the shelves look slopped.

Well that's an old pic of my rig (and from afar, sorry). You can also see the 3 Hard Drives...back when i was limited to my 80gig/20gig Western Digital configuration and the IBM 180gxp at the top.

The fan/heatsink has since been replaced (Swifty 370C to a Thermalright SLK800) and OEM fan to PanafloH1A.

A CompUSA chipset heatsink was added to the southbridge as well (but alas, cannot be seen on the picture)
