Former Blink 182 Drummer Travis Barker in Critical Condition

Not sure if anyone else is a fan of his, but am and I think he's the only one from Blink 182 with any real talent. DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) is also in critical condition and 4 others died after their plane crashed in Columbia, SC. I really hope Travis and Adam pull through, and RIP to the others who died.

This ****ing sux. We're talking about it on MODLIFE. Everyone is really distraught and scared. Tom DeLonge will come on webcam later today to discuss the situation.
 
Wow that is tragic. Hopefully they both do pull through and very sad about the ones who didn't make it. Despite their sudden "emo" label, I've been a fan of Blink for many many years.

Some truth in that.

Looks like some sparks were seen. That could mean a lot of things. Guess we will need to wait a bit before knowing what happened.

Apparantly hes severly burned as well.🙁
 
This put me to tears.. Travis is a good friend, so is Chris Baker.

It's scary to hear when someone you admire is hurt severely.

I wanna know what Tom say's... He's an ******!!

can you post here once tom talks? given their history i'm really curious what he has to say.
 
This is tragic. I read that Travis has severe burns. I really hope he and the other survivor pull through. I must have burned out a dozen hair cells in my ears listening to his drums.
 
I can't believe it, i'm so hoping it turns out ok.
Even if he doesn't die, if Travis stops playing I'll be so f*king pissed.
 
If and when Tom DeLonge comes on ModCam, I will rip the audio and post it here. I just need to find a free audio rip program I can DL onto my Mac so i can record it. Any suggestions? Please provide a link. 🙂
 
I don't particularly enjoy his technique in drumming, but he's a major influence of a few of my major influences so in that way it's a hard thing to believe. I sure hope he pulls through all right even though he's just another drummer to me. If he doesn't get behind a kit again, it'll be a shame.
 
Update: None of the band members of Angels & Airwaves have been on today. We do know they are all in North Carolina doing a military concert for the TV show 'One Tree Hill'. It is likely that Tom is with Travis in the hospital located in Georgia. However it is only a rumor.

What a day. I got the call pretty early in the morning, and was told that Sarah had been killed in a Lear out in South Carolina. I didn't know her super well, but we've talked from time to time, and she was always a pleasure to be around. I wish I would have had a chance to fly with her.

She interviewed for an aircraft at the company I work for about a year and a half ago. For reasons pretty much beyond her control, the aircraft ended up being assigned to me. Can't help but think that if I weren't there, she wouldn't have wound up in that Lear.

Dammit.

😱 That's sad. Losses are hard. But it is part of life.

Don't know if you are kidding, but I feel for the people that lost a friend, loved one, or just acquaintance.

R.I.P. everyone on the lear 60 that didn't make it.

Not kidding, but I'm not going to go on and on like she was my best friend either. Nonetheless, she was an 'industry' friend, and this thing has shaken the charter community down here a bit. We're a pretty small group.
