Iphone 3G Software unlocking.

Hi all,
Is there any fully software solution for unlocking Iphone 3G.(paid/unpaid)
some sites claiming software unlock. http://www.appleunlockiphone.com/default.html . Is it real? any one tried?

I don't think there is (yet). I would only trust the Dev-team with my iPhone and since they haven't been able to figure it out, I would still wait. Unless of course you get some confirmation from some friend that it is possible.

Yes. There is NO software unlock yet.

Some iPhones 3G (I think from australia, HK, and a few other places) are hardware unlocked by Apple. They can use iPhone 3G without the need to unlock.


Does anybody know if ATT Prepaid Sim cards work for iPhone 3G? I don't use my iPhone a lot for the cellphone part so Prepaid might work for me better.
