tv tuner work with mac?

so here is my question since macs can run vista, can i hook up a tv tuner to use with media center?

i would like to buy a macbook, but am always on the go so having a tv tuner is handy so i can record and watch live tv.

It would probably work OK but you'd be better off with an EyeTV Hybrid (http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/mainmenu/products/hybrid/product1.en.html). Very easy to use and can export recordings to iPods and Apple TV.
