iPod touch YouTube Video Recorder

I'd like record some YouTube videos to watch on my ipod touch when I don't have WiFi connectivity. The videos I'm interested in are about 1 hour in length. Any recorder program recommendations?

atubecatcher works really well and is free.

You then need a progam to convert the video to Ipod format. I use Videora Ipod Touch converter, it's free too.

I take it that there is no way to avoid the converter which converts from mp4 to mp4?

Use "a Tube Catcher" to download YouTube video with mp4 extension. Then, in iTunes select "Add to Library" from File pull-down menu, and add to YouTube video to Movies folder.
