Combining midi events

Does any one know of a way to combine midi events from different tracks? I've got a few tracks of the rock kit where I've added some symbles and rolls and such and I want to combine them with the main drum track.

I've found you can cut and paste selected events (one for one) but if you try to add the whole section it replaces what your adding to.

Any ideas?

why the heck would you want to make such a destructive edit? think of the hassle should you ever want to treat the tracks differently.
