Hello,
I searched the forum but didn't see an answer to this.
Can you transfers Cycorder videos to your Mac? If so, how? I am sure it involves SSH, does anyone know where the files are stored on the iPhone and how to identify them?
Thank you in advance!

SSH to: /private/var/mobile/Media/Videos
They're saved as timestamped .MOV files.

Worked perfectly-except.. their orientation is horizontal-need it to be vertical :)
Do you know how to do this? I can do it with a photo, but not sure on a mov file.
Thanks again !

Turn your phone when you record the videos. They aren't supposed to be tall, they are supposed to be 4:3.

Oay, so I exported from iMovie-using the export sing quicktime option so that I ended up with a *.mov file.
I SSHed it back to the phone, but Cycorder won't play it.
Anyone know why?

turn wifi on
install openssh on iPhone
open Terminal on your mac and enter "ssh root@x.x.x.x" (where x.x.x.x is the address of the iPhone on your airport/wifi network, 10.1.1.3 on mine), it will take a few moments, answer "yes" and then password "alpine"
install cyberduck on mac
in cyberduck on mac, quick connect to sftp:mobile@x.x.x.x
sftp connection
address x.x.x.x (10.1.1.3)
user "mobile"
password "alpine", unless you changed it, which is a good idea.
cyberduck will display a finder style list of folders on the iPhone,
Media
Library
Applications.
the videos are in Media>Video
drag and drop .mov files onto desktop, or anywhere else you'd like on the mac

Jailbreak-there is a LOT of other stuff that will never be on the app store as well.
Speaking of which, KUDOS to all you iPhone Dev Team members out there and those of you who are FAR SMARTER than I am and develop these iPhone apps with little or no renumeration. THANK YOU!
