I copied 580 MB of photos to my iPod yet the capacity bar reads 1.91 GB.

Any idea why this is?

😕

No one? 🙁

What does iTunes or the iPod Touch do to TRIPLE the size of the photos? 😕

That is was it says in the capacity bar in iTunes.

Okay I just deleted all images and re synched them. The result was 1.90 GB in the capacity bar.

Here are the file size of all the folders I have just synched:

239.8 MB
16.6 MB
366 MB
24 MB
188.1 MB
2.5 MB
2.3 MB
10.2 MB
3 MB
11.1 MB

Total: 863.6 MB

Somewhere over 1 GB has appeared. 😕

it has something to do with the photo cache, and itunes resizing the images or something along the lines of that, as far as i know, you can't do anything about it.
