Help getting ipod touch 2g out of case.

Yea I know there was a post about this like a week back but cant find it..I cant get it out the the plastic base without damaging it.

I meant to say "box not "case"/.....Whoops
 
Yes the "fake home screen" that is on your ipod, it has to come off for the ipod to come out of the plastic holder
 
And for anyone else, YouTube has a ton of iPod Touch 2G unboxing videos showing how to take it out of the packaging.

Wouldn't go that far, I found it quite a pain to get the device out. The top sticker has the peel tab so that was easy, the bottom doesnt, then also the stickers on the side so a knife to cut those, pop it open, remove the fake home screen and then twist that plastic bed to finally get the device out.

It might not be rocket science, but it certainly isn't the easiest way to do it. The original dark boxes are more desirable.
 
Thanks, sgtboy, for posting your answer. I'm the owner of MANY Apple products, but the Touch was the first one I've never been able to even get out of its packaging! lol For a company that makes such intuitive products, this was one packaging design that wasn't.😱

I hate this Packaging, I don't have my camera but I think it damaged it/I was careful. I can't find my hp Digital Camera but now my new 16GB touch has this HIGH CONTRAST that's makes it unusable.
