Hi, I usually have a few windows opened at one time. It is driving me nuts that the top of the windows automatically are underneath the info at the top of my screen, and I cannot just easily move the whole window because I can't grab the top of it.
How can I fix this so it doesn't get stuck underneath that top part.
I never want it there because I can't move the window with ease.
How to I change this? thanks.

Push tab. The bar at the top will become hidden and you can move your windows. Then push tab again to bring the bar back. Also, go to the View menu, and under Screen Mode, make sure Standard Screen Mode is selected.

Actually, instead of tab,hit F to change view modes until it gets to a regular window with a grab-able top. Tab just removes the toolbars, it doesn't give you a window top.... what is the correct term for that anyways?

I've always called it the title bar. Anyone else?

That's what it is. Thanks - it's funny how simple things can slip one's memory.

Well, then when you think you remember it, you don't believe it. Just with that, I was like, no way it's title bar...that's too easy. Then, it always turns out to be the easy thing you can't believe.
