Ok, I have to ask just because I don't know... what are the advantages of jailbreaking an iPhone... or disadvantages?
I don't have an iPhone... yet (I plan on getting one when my VZ contract expires in Nov), but I have been doing a lot of lurking/learning on these boards and one thing i haven't figured out is what jailbreaking will gain you.
Yes, I am a noob and I am pretty ignorant on this topic... so if you feel the need to flame me, fine, but I really just want informative information/opinions.
