Best Thumb Drive?

Hey I'm looking into getting an 8GB USB thumb drive (wish they made FW800 ones). It would be great if it works on both Mac and PC and is cheap I found this one but I'm not sure if it works on Mac

That's what I have, and I have no real problems with it. The stupid orange light gets sort of annoying sometimes though.

All Thumb Drives are basically the same, and all work on all platforms. The Cruzer is a nice one, and will work fine.

Just found a cheap 8GB from Fry's electronics.

but yea, all flash drives are the same. any one will work, since it's Universal serial bus. cruzer is a nice one tho.

There ARE firewire flash drives. Try Google. Here's one.

8GB for $25, wow

anyways I have a 2GB and it works great, the software to remove the U3 files now comes with the drive.

Are you talking about the standard Windows-based U3 software or is there a Mac version?

SanDisk gets my vote.

I have four different brands from 1-2 Gb, Adata, Legend, Rundisk and SanDisk. The last one is the best 'feel' because it has silicone rubber coating, great to handle.

Once you've formatted a drive FAT 32, they'll work cross-platform.
