That's what I have, and I have no real problems with it. The stupid orange light gets sort of annoying sometimes though.
 
All Thumb Drives are basically the same, and all work on all platforms. The Cruzer is a nice one, and will work fine.

anyways I have a 2GB and it works great, the software to remove the U3 files now comes with the drive.
 
SanDisk gets my vote.

I have four different brands from 1-2 Gb, Adata, Legend, Rundisk and SanDisk. The last one is the best 'feel' because it has silicone rubber coating, great to handle.

Once you've formatted a drive FAT 32, they'll work cross-platform.
