disable mobile webpages?

how can I disable the mobile version of a website? The ones I'm viewing don't have an option to view the full HTML site.

Try viewing gizmodo.com on your iPod touch.

You can't really. Unless they have a button that gives you the option. This stems from Apple prepending the word Mobile to Safari's name when it is sent to the servers. MLB.com and Amtrak.com also do this for both the iPod Touch and the iPhone.

There is usaully a link somewhere on the page to get to the normal page, not always, but most of the time.
