iPhone still freezing and/or crashing after 2.1

I have a iPhone 2.5G as u can see in my sig and i am still crashing apps but non safari after 2.1 is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes it does

Apps audi A4 ,funky punch were crashing consistently for me in 2.1
remaining are ok for now...

Try to do a Restore in iTunes and start all over again. I did a restore on mine and now mine runs a lot faster and have not had any problems.

Mine crashes a lot too, so I think I should restore it too. If I restore though, will it delete all my contacts and everything?

will the restore downgrade the firmware ?
I use iPhone at home with wifi ,no probs.
when I use safari to browse outside in 3g/edge it crashes repeatedly
site i tried to open was http://maps.google.com
ATT service location :San Jose CA

The restore will not downgrade the firmware. It will stay at the current 2.1. After you restore, you have the option to restore from a previous backup or keep everything clean and transfer all your contacts, apps, music, photos, etc...

Mine has frozen / crashed at least twice after installing 2.1. I think I'll restore it and see if things improve.

Ok, so I restored today after being fed up with the crashing since day 1 (I'm on 2.1). It has already crashed with light internet use again a few times. Is there something wrong with my iPhone or is it all software? Don't get me wrong, this is the best piece of technology I've owned... it just gets a little annoying.

both. It needs a G5 processor 😛 jk

its mostly firmware but i think if they had a better processor it would help oh and more ram like 512mb
(u know what i mean when i say ram. I dont mean ram i mean phone ram)
