i wouldnt buy it. the ipod touch and iphone were based on the principle that you didnt need a stylus. this pen has actually been around for a while now, and since i first saw it i thought of it as a waste. would anyone bother explaining the purpose of this $20 "device"?

You can get similar products for the touch on ebay for less than $10

Yep not everyone has thin fingers and having a stylus would really make using the Touch much easier. Using the stylus also would help keep skin oil off the screen. I agree the price is a tad high for what it is. $5-10 seems more reasonable.
