last week i was listening to music and i was getting skipping and weird things like that and when i wiggled the heaphones thats what made it skip. i thought it was the heaphones so i got another pair from apple, and the first time using them it was happening again. i realized that its the whole heaphone jack because i tried like 3 pairs of headphones.

i Have an 8gb 1g ipod touch not even a year old, any help?

if it's less than a year old then it's still covered by warranty. What you're describing is a hardware problem so organize to send it to Apple and you should get a replacement.
