If you're still restoring every day, maybe it's time to back off on using so many jailbreak apps.... I mean, I'm not using jailbreak apps on 2.1, but I used my iPhone jailbreaked for 1.14 and 2.0.1 and I've never had to restore it except to upgrade it. And I've even always been able to restore the backup after upgrading the firmware too. If you're restoring it, installing these apps, making your iPhone unstable, and repeating the same process the next day, it's just time to stop.

I did the same thing when i upgraded to 2.1, and i noticed that the mobile installation file for 2.1 is about 200 kb bigger. this may have something to do with it, they must have added something that we haven't figured out yet. I do want to upgrade, but the apps wont follow, so i will wait. mkrishnan, i think he's not talking about jailbreak apps, but hacked app store apps.
