iPhone 2.1 REALLY slow... Too many Apps?

Ok. I've got a 3g that is jailbroken with TONS of apps (7 pages full = 112). Now loading even basic programs like SMS and Contacts takes at least 15 seconds. The iphone has also been locking up on me a bit as well. I know that issue was discussed previously, but I haven't seen anything about very slow load times with lots of apps. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I have the same issue. but I don't have near as many apps. I used QuickPwn to jail break my phone, and the lag completely sucks. Typing is delayed to the point of complete lunacy. Any peps out there with a good idea for us?:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::confused::mad::(:mad::confused::mad:
