Apple mouse won't scroll up

I've cleaned it by turning it upside down and moving the rollerball on a clean mouse pad. This method has worked well for me numerous times. This time, however, the mouse still won't work in the up direction, as in scrolling back up a page. Has anyone else had this issue and been able to get it to work again?

my right click is disabled, wtf?
 
OP - Wet your finger and try to scroll up.

Chadszisch - Check the Mouse settings in System Preferences.
