dialing a number

so I retrieve a # like 555-555-555-5555 (country code,state,town,line or whatever) from an sqlite3 database, display it in a label, but i would like the user of the app (if they have an iphone) to click on it, and dial the #

can i do this from a label, probably not, or make that label a button?

and if it is an ipod touch user, can i void it? to just display the #

any help or code would be appreciated

my question now is, can the iphone simulator ...simulate a call, not to actually call, but just to test it out as i dont have it running on my device yet
