The community section is being inundated with the Avatar Contest threads!!!

They go in the Avatar Contest Forum (http://www.macrumors.com/forums/forumdisplay.php3?s=&forumid=22). Get it right people!!

Amazing isn't it? How difficult can it be to read the rules beforehand?

I'm sure Dukestreet has enough to worry about as it is, without all these misplaced threads...

Relax there Taft. That's not the case at all. General discussion of avatar related items will be moved here if they're posted in the Avatar Forum. We need to keep that forum clean of random threads, especially when it gets to be time to organize for the judging.

I have to validate all the threads and posts myself, you know. And we've got way more than expect in the first day or so.

Its been crazy, but it will probably calm down a little later in the week when the novelty wears off. I imagine then we'll get some more serious tars, ones that take a bit of time to put together.

And we've got some great ones so far:D

As someone who has personally done a 46 frame tar, I think you don't need to point out the level of effort you've put into your tar. The judges will not overlook anyting, so don't worry.

We still have a week to go, so far things are looking really good.

Hey, I'm not worried... I have full faith in you guys to pick the best 'tar. Just a bit of shameless own-avatar promotion, that's all! :D
