'Skip Count' & 'Last Skipped' not working in iTunes 8?

I've just realised that my iTunes is no longer registering when I 'skip' a song, which is buggering up my most used Smart Playlists.

Is it just me or are other users having the same issue? 😕
 
Anyone come across any more info on this. I just transferred from iTunes7 on a PC to iTunes 8 on a mac. I used this quite extensively in Smart Playlists... upsetting that it's not working.
