I've been looking around and have not been able to find what I'm looking for.

Basically I want to use a picture as a background but all the icons block everything.

Is there an application where you can have each icon sit at a certain place?

An example is the picture I have now, I want to have the middle of it be visible, so I would want the icons to run around like a border.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Why not just move all the icons to another page?

Hold the icons down and they will wiggle .. move them over to the second page and you should have an EMPTY home screen.

I don't think you can have an empty page...

You can have a blank page if you jailbreak and use the fake app program.

Why not just have your four most used apps along the top of page one, and then put all the rest on the other pages.

what i did was downloaded window maximus 4.0 which was a theme for 1.1.x

it works fine on 2.x but what is in the theme is blank apps which you can take as many as you like and drag them into your application folder through ssh

then reboot your phone or touch and you wont see any difference, but if you move icons around you will have the blank icons you put in there

then you can just rearrange your icons so the blank apps are all in the middle
