Since the 2.1 firmware release, i haven't heard any more complaints about the dreaded ALOD. Has anyone experienced this with 2.1? if not, is it safe to say that this major issue has been fixed with the new firmware?

Is it safe to conclude that the ALOD (apple logo of death) is history with 2.1?
