i pod screen frozen

Help! My ipod screen is stuck on one song and not moving. However, I can still listen to songs other than the one that's displayed on the screen and pretty much use it normally... except all I see is "David Bowie...etc." I've had it since Christmas... never been dropped... never been in the cold... I can't really figure out what's wrong. Any suggestions?

try to reset it......

put it in the dock and hold play and menu until the apple logo appears......

1. my ipod doesn't have a dock, it just plugs into my computer (I have a PC)

2. it still is frozen when I press play

I read about this same problem on another board. The kid reset his (by holding menu+play for 10 seconds or however long it is) and it worked just fine.

you don't need a dock. just switch the hold switch to hold then back then press and hold menu and play, and your ipod will reset
