Star Wars Mod for Homeworld 2

Does anyone know if the star wars conversion for homeworld 2 (star wars: warlords) also work for the mac version of homeworld?

as far as the mod's official website, they make no mention of compatibility. BUT — the installation is based on switching out game files instead of an .exe installer so i'm led to believe that it might be possible....
