weird vertical lines ipod touch video quality.

For some reason i can see lines going down a charcters face or body when he or she moves. Sometimes when a scene involves movement i can see the lines and its annoying. The video quality should be clean and sharp but i see lines and i would like to know if some people have the same problem. I have a ipod touch 2g.

Are these movies from the iTunes store or did you rip them yourself?

When you watch the movie in iTunes, do these lines appear as well?

If it is, from what i've seen, it's on most iPod touches. It's not because of the way the video is encoded, that's just how this particular screen reacts - you should be able to see it while browsing through coverflow too.
