Hey everyone,

There's a CNN poll going on at www.cnn.com (near the bottom of the page) asking you if you're a "Mac fan or a pc person". I think we all should go over there and vote. Let's get over 18%!!!!!

Well, it can't be a very representative poll:
5% market share, yet >20% Mac fan's!

As stated in Full Metal Jacket:
"We are here to help the World, because inside every peecee user there is a Mac Fan trying to get out" - Poge Colonel

I just voted... We're at 20%!!!:D

I love the disclaimer at the bottom of the poll:

This QuickVote is not scientific and reflects the opinions of only those Internet users who have chosen to participate. The results cannot be assumed to represent the opinions of Internet users in general, nor the public as a whole. The QuickVote sponsor is not responsible for content, functionality or the opinions expressed therein.

Basically: This poll is worthless!

Makes me wonder, though, what the marketshare is based on. If it's sales, then by all means Macs are low, because PCs get replaced much more often than Macs. If it were based on ownership instead of sales, I'll bet Apple would have more than %5.

After entering a bunch of random addresses I found the results:

If anyone can figure out how CNN numbers the pages, more power to you.
