3G Volume Setting (am I missing something?)

In setup there is an option to set the ring volume.

When I go back to the main screen and push the up/down volume button it changes the ring volume (it even says "ring volume")!

So what is the point of having a volume setting in setup?

I want games and iTunes to use the volume setting and not the ringer! Am I missing something?

The volume buttons will adjust the volume of whatever app you are currently using, including games and iPod.

If you are on the main screen, it adjusts the ringer volume.

Maybe, an option to lock the ringer volume on setup would be nice to have in the future.
