Shared Folder on a Wireless network????

i want to share my iTunes folder over my wireless network and i have ticked the box shared in "get info" and change the all the sharing permissions to "read & write" and i have added it to my shared folders in Sharing in System Preferences, i have also ticked all three boxes in the options menu from sharing. The Shared folder still doesn't show up in my sharing folders when i access my shared folder from my dad's mac?? is there anything i am doing wrong????
