ive always been on the fence about an apple tablet. because it would be an apple product, it would work well. but then, when it might need something like an iphone interface because os x seems somewhat difficult without a mouse.
but then, whatever apple does with it will turn out extraordinary.

and as for the cure for a falling apple, i would agree with that. anything revolutionary is bound to raise stock in any company. and the fact that its apple makes it more probable :D

A tablet is great because it's portable: you don't need a mouse and keyboard. For everything but drawing, a mouse and keyboard are already great--but they tie you to a desktop, or at least a laptop.

So the beauty of a tablet is when it is smaller than a laptop, even an ultraportable. Significantly smaller, even pocketable. A computer you can carry when your laptop is too much hassle.

Apple should make a pocketable tablet. With an interface MEANT for a tablet, not just a mouse interface re-purposed.

They could tie it to their iPod brand to help it catch on, and even sell a version with a phone and camera built in. I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

a 12" tablet will sell really well because Apple has a large student and artist base.
