Whats in the box?

I'm in the UK and about to buy MobileMe (i'm aware of all the reported problems). It costs £59 here which is $105. I've seen it on ebay and amazon in US. If I get a friend to buy it in the US from ebay/amazon can he simply open the box and email me the activation code? Is their anything physical in the box I need?

This will save me ££$$

Another question. If I purchase MM, do I get the free 60 days. i.e. do i get 60 days for free then 365 days for the retail price. If not, I' might as well do the free trial then pay?
That leads to a second question. If I sign up for free trial do I pay up front and then get a refund if I don't like it before the end of the 60days?

Also, If i sign up for the free trial and then don't select to pay for it after the end of the trial, what happens to all my data in the cloud? Can I wait a few months and then pay and get back the same member name?

Sign up for the free trial first. Then some time during that trial use the activation code to renew for an additional 12 months.

You shouldn't pay up front with the trial although it will ask for a CC number. If you plan on renewing using a box just deselect the auto renew option.

If you let your membership expire you will lose everything stored in the cloud.
