There ya go. I tried to make it as self-explanatory as possible. If the alias is pointing to an app (has an Icon) you need to Show Original -> Show Package Contents to continue further. Make backups of whatever your're replacing and have fun.

Why do you run Windows in a VM with mIRC. Why not just run Colloquy or some other OS X chat client? Do you leave you Windows VM running all the time? Please sir - explain the mysteries of your VM to me. Also I see you have a Steam icon up, by some luck of fate did you get tf2/steam to work in Fusion?
lol, they're not porn, they're just...movies. They're downloaded though so I didn't want to get into trouble. =p

And, I run mIRC in a virtual machine because it is, and always has been, my favourite IRC client. And I run Steam for the IMs on it.

I also use the vm for several windows-only tools that I use for video conversion for my PS3, and a few other apps, but mainly, for IRC.

As for gaming, I've not tried, since I generally just boot into Bootcamp for that in the first place. =]

It's all in the customization of the preferences (adium). Play around with them.

All i did was download the 'Floating' skin off of Adium Xtras, set transparency to 100% and then selected borderless window as the window style on appearance preferences. peice of cake :) isn't the simplicity wonderful. Apple FTW
