I first noticed it a few days ago and I seems to be getting worse. I doesn't sit flat anymore. I'm going to contact contact Apple about it, but should I be worried about this thing blowing or anything?

Discontinue use IMMEDIATELY. Remove it from the Mac and get it replaced.

Personally i would be very careful, if the battery is doing so and is a few inches out of place, it can course fire or explosion. Just try to be careful.

Or totally leave it for now and pop it into an apple store or whoever you knows deals with it

Can be dangerous buddy

All the best!

mine does too. i cant use it as a laptop anymore. i called apple and they said i was out of luck

even when i presented them with a support document saying that the warranty on batteries has been extended to 2 years. she told me that was an old document

i was kind of pissed

Thanks for confirming my fears guys. I've removed the battery, and i'm going to give Apple a call and see if there going to do anything about it.

that's a total bunch of BS. Ask to speak to someone higher up. demand a replacement!

stupid and not needed. if youre going to make a joke, please at least make it funny!

for the OP.

let us know what happened. If the battery swells, thats APPLES fault. That has nothing to do with how you use it. DEMAND a replacement and fight tooth and nail to get it.

good luck.
