That wasn't a slip. It's the way McCain actually feels. He said that with a straight face. Without even wincing.

I know, that's what's so scary about it.

The republican party is becoming a bigger joke with each passing day.

And the worst bit is, they will win.

Well, nothing like a positive outlook to brighten things up.

While I think this is more humorous than anything else, I do wonder if he was aware that he said it. :o

They live in Kentucky where Jebus will save us all. Jebus tells them to vote Republican. Also Kentucky has a Creationism Museum. Its really awesome.

Either Führer Sen. McCain has developed one hell of a stutter or that video isn't playing properly for me!

EDIT: That new link appears to have healed the stutter!

I agree. It seemed the most natural part of his delivery. He's dead serious.

Statements like that should automatically disqualify anyone from running for president. Immediately.

Does he even know what he is saying. LOL

Just another reason why I wouldn't vote for him. I think he has lost touch with realty.

That would explain why he can't remember how many houses he owns.

His opinions aside, that clip is really annoying to watch just from the fact that he's such an @-hole. He's not even a nice guy, he's just rude, pompous, condescending and generally unpleasant, and he only smiles or laughs when he's being scornful. Charm school anyone?

Well excuse me while I accidentally pour a pot of boiling hot maverick coffee in his POW crotch!

As Chris Rock said, "I don't wanna vote for nobody that got captured, I wanna vote for the m************** that got away!"

Yes, jails are full of people who weren't smart enough not to get caught.
I want the smart guy who got away.

Then you must be a great fan of this administration. We cannot even get them to obey a subpoena.

Just so everyone knows, my POW/Maverick statements where extreme sarcasm.

First I disliked him as a choice for president because I cannot believe anyone in 2008 can hold his views. Now its not only that I dislike his views, hes just a plain out scumbag and liar.

But, you know, anything for power before you die right? (including being almost the exact opposite of who you were in 2000.....)

If he gets elected then my worst fears are true, america officially is the stupidest/stubbornest/most gullible nation on earth.

I thought that nothing could get worse than Bush, but obviously, McCain is the perfect example of the type of guy that will set the world in flames just for the sake of it. Mrs Sarah Palin is really a joke. She sounds clearly stupid.

I wouldn't say he is worse, just different. Same, but different.
if Palin takes the wheel then we are truly f*cked.
