Does anyone know how to backup an original Xbox dvd using a Mac ?
I have a scratched copy of Burnout 3 that refuses to play on my Xbox
(in fact the third copy of this game i've bought second hand that doesn't work - i think it's cursed !). I know that the original DVD doesn't mount on the Mac, Toast doesn't seem to want too copy it. We have a Primera DVD copier at work which copied something from it, i'm guessing the Video TS file of the animation at the beginning, i haven't been able to check yet.
Any suggestions appreciated.

The one way I know of backing up Xbox games is to do a dump of the DVD from a modded menu/XBMC. So it needs to be read 100% by the xbox making the chances of you backing it up slim :(

Yes i think you're right. Having looked on the web most programmes need to be connected to the Xbox via ethernet or require the Xbox to be modded in some way, which i'm not going near ! Thought there maybe be way of extracting the ISO file from within the Mac then burn it using Toast or Disk Utility but i guess not.
