Is there a way to make a new Hard drive icon for the one on your desktop. If so, how?

If you want to change these items, use CandyBar (http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16010). You can download icons from Xicons (http://www.xicons.com). You can also make custom icons for yourself, just do a search on VersionTracker (http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/).

You can download HD images from many icon websites, all you have to do is copy the image, then paste it into the preview window in Get Info.
