Should I get these for the PC or 360?
Left 4 Dead
Fallout 3
Dead Space
I have a decent enough system (mac pro 2.8MHz, 8800GT, 4gb RAM, XP) for them. What system would you get them for and why?
I have a feeling most will say PC, but I just want to hear the opinions.
Cheers!

I would get it for "PC", since you Mac Pro is well fitted for these games (maybe you need to upgrade the graphic card for Dead Space and Fallout 3 if you want to use all extras and eyecandy in big resolution, but i think, that the GeForce 8800GT should also handle these tasks).
For the Xbox360 version: do you have an Xbox? Not? Than you must calculate the following: a new Xbox price + Xbox games price (the price of these is always more than the price of the PC equivalent game) = final price.
So if I were you, I would go with the PC versions of these games.

My monitor is only 21" so don't have to wack the resolution up too high.

Yeah, I've got a 360 already.

A 21" monitor? If it's an LCD, than it got a 1600x1200 pixels native resolution...
Yeah, I've got a 360 already.
Ah, OK, i didn't know that. Than it's your choice... choose wiselly.

The other two are a toss for me, but on Fallout 3 *please* get the PC version, to support the *real* place it belongs ...

I agree, Fallout 3 will monumentally be better on PC.

I'm going for Left4Dead on PC for sure, it's fast paced and from what I've heard and seen at PAX it's just too much of a pain to play on a controller, unless you turn up the sensitivity real high I guess. Just seems like a mouse would be worlds better. Plus it's from Valve... PC is where it's supposed to be.
I'm still up in the air about the others.

personally, i'll take a keyboard and mouse over just a controller for any game any day. more comfortable for me.

PC, just for the better controls, higher resolution, free online play, "mod"ability.

Whenever I have a choice between PC and console, I would always go PC.... depending. If my machine can't run it SMOOTH, I will get it for 360. The upcoming games like Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2 cannot possibly run smooth on my MBP without sacrificing delicious eye candy... so I'm getting them for either PS3 or 360. Since I think Far Cry 2 multiplayer will suck on consoles, I'll most likely get them both for PS3.
